Reset to factory settings
Factory Reset/Hard Reset of Ulefone Phones
Is your Ulefone not working properly? A first step is to try a factory reset. The most common cause of software and hardware problems is incorrectly stored information in the software, which is easily fixed by factory resetting your smartphone. NOTE! If you can, ALWAYS make a backup of your information before resetting!
Before sending your phone in for service, we kindly ask you to perform a factory reset if you experience one or more of these errors:
- GPS problem
- Battery problem
- Overheating
- Connection problems
- Interference during calls
- Memory management error
- Random app crashes
- Black screen / White screens
- Connection problems (Bluetooth, computer, other devices)
Reset/Soft Reset
We recommend that you do a Soft Reset before you take the step of doing a Hard Reset. A Soft Reset means that you simply turn off your mobile phone and keep it off for about 10 seconds before turning it back on. This can solve minor and simple problems and you keep the contents of your Ulefone intact.
Here's how you make one Reset/Soft Reset:
- Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
- Select Power OFF and then press OK.
- Wait for about 10 seconds.
- Hold down the power button again and restart the phone.
